Firstly i would like to say that a big step in the forward direction has occured for the BK Army. We met the man him self after the Willie game against Sandy. Great bloke, down to earth really cool guy.
He kicked 6 absolutely magnificant goals in very tough goal kicking conditions. He managed to kick 6 straight, single handedly kept them in the game when willie were down by one point at 3 Q time. Unfortunately the great man him self appered to have done his hamstring late in the 3rd Quarter, he got it treated at 3Q time and came off the field early in the last Q. Allthough after the game he limped of icing his ankle. Clearly BOG for Willie, by far the stand out of the Collingwood players and once again showed why he is to good for the VFL.
Incase you are interested after being one point down at 3Q time Willie managed to loose 19.18 134 to 9.5 59.

Other Collingwood players.

Tex- Played very well across half back. Among the best.

Crow- I like the kid, he is improving everytime I see him. Played at Full back once again and performed solidly in the ruck.

R.Shaw- Was good, well below his best. Got extremely frustrated.

King- Did nothing, had no impact. Best thin he did was have a full on go at some sandy fan giving R.Shaw crap while walking off.

Maxwell- Did well, took some good marks played well.

H.Shaw/B.Shaw- Both had no impact.

The Shack- did nothing

Mullins- had a really good first Q dropped of a little bit in the second came back in the 3rd and droped back off. Among the best.

Williams- In great danger of being droped further down to the magoos second. Absolute crap.

McGough- had a few possies but didn't do much, had little impact.

Lokan- Running 50 meters taking three bounces in D50, taking people on, runing straight passed them then kicking the ball about 30 M's high and 15 M's far straight to the oposition summed up his day well. Once again, wasted so much energy leading when he clearly is out of position. Also told the Sandy faith full to F*** Off, go get F'd, and there was something else but don't quite remember it, brent might be able to fill you in.

Collingwood players that are among the best- Kinnear, Walker, Mullins...................................................R.Shaw was ok.

BK MAGIC LIVES ON

Most of BK's goals were kicked with the aid of a strong breeze. I wouldn't go overboard about his game, he was good, but with the wind blowing like it did the job of the ff was pretty easy especially in the first quarter.

Even McGough goaled from 50, so it was not hard to score!!!

Yes, but did McGough take contested marks. BK played really well, he still managed to kick 6 straight in the breeze. Fair effort. Ofcourse i'm going over the top. But 6 goals in three Quarter and probly around 10 to 12 marks is a fair effort.

3 of Kinnear's goals were from free kicks so his marking wasnt out of the ordinary by any means. Yes i agree he is too good at VFL Level, but why is it he is so **** at AFL Level? When given his marching orders (no offence to the "army" but preferably soon) he will dominate a surburban league. By the way i had Brayden in the best, he was number 37 if you didn't notice. Whilst not spectacular i would have had him the 3rd best player today behind Crow and Kinnear.

Here's a copy of the post from LSD.

No Kinnear no Williamstown, that would be the moral of today's game. Willi got beat by Sandy, quite convincingly in the last quarter with Sandy kicking with a massive breeze and kicking 11.6 to no score in the last dig after leading by one point at 3 quarter time. Sylvia is going to be an absolute superstar. Those that were there today witnessed him dominate. Kicking 7 and setting 3 or 4 up with bullet like passes. Pity he doesnt play for us.

Kinnear kicked 6 and presented well. What a pity he is so **** the next level up. From what i saw today, the Shaws (Brayden and Heath) are the least of our worries. Nixon and King were terrible. Unbelieveably insipid. King got chased down every single run he tried. Nixon looks more like a hurdler than a footballer. Maxwell got towelled up by Sylvia but battled hard all day. Worth perservering with. Crow looked good but Sandy didn't play either Jolly or Jamar so its hard to say what class of opposition he played against. Shackelton started very well but slowed later in the day and didnt seem to influence the game late on. Ditto Mullins. McGough was impressive all day but you would expect that from him. Lokan looked hungover and played similarily, quite dissapointing. And Rhyce. Those who were there would have seen rock bottom for Rhyce, heckled by the crowd, leads not honoured, spitting the dummy, kicking out on the full, constantly bumped off the ball, not putting his head over the ball, it went on. His body language was shocking. Mick was in attendance and will have noted his sulky Richo esque performance.

All in all a dissapointing day for a team that kicked the first 5 goals of the game, albeit aided by a strong and heavy Beach Rd wind.

By the way, i got there midway through the second quarter of the reserves and saw Morrisson. Our illustrious first draft pick took 2 marks in the time i was there, both strong body on body marks against Luke Molan, a former #9 2001 Draft pick for the dees. Apart from that, no leads, no body language, looked careless and probably would not have been noticed had it not been for his profile. Ended up kicking 4 for the match so they must have been early on.

We must draft Luke Jarrad. Quick, evasive and can kick. Completely superior to blokes like Mullins and Shax with huge arses.

Yes I know that he is 37, personally didnt think he did much.

This is why i believe why BK is so **** at AFL level

I think he just lacks the confidence, you saw him today. He was leader out there, lead by example, and most of all he was confident, kicked long goals straight through the middle.

The free kick 20 Meters out directly in front was pathetic, the others he was first to the ball.

I think he is in the same boat as R.Shaw, lacks confidence and ground time in the AFL get's to the VFL and blosums. Maybe he just isn't good enough or they just don't have the confidence.

don't think so - he was at the MCG watching Travis Cloke.

I saw him at Q time walking towards the coaches box at willie, and I saw him leave at full time.

Maybe he was in two places at once.

Check page 51 of todays Herald Sun. Theres a photo of MM at the MCG.

The only senior player I saw at Sandy was Alan Didak.

Some people saying that Rhyce had a dog of a day and some saying that Brayden did not do much, but yet they are in the best.

Rhys was pretty good - the body language stuff I read on this board was a crock. Worked hard all day. Brayden got a few touches and showed some polish but did not do enough.

****! ****! ****!

Late Change: Lonie_From_50 (personal reasons) for unknown.

Why oh Why did I want to go 3 hours to go to my gorgeous holiday house in the Vic Country of Jamieson. I hadn't been up there with my family for about 12 months so I decided to go. It was freezing, Couldn't kick the footy with my brother because of a toe injury and well, all i did was kick back and do my stats - nothing special. When my parents said they are coming back on Saturday except for my dad who was coming back yesterday I had to go so I couldn't miss Friday Night.

About 2 minutes before we left I was reading monday sport and decided to check out on the Willie game. Colin Sylvia had headlines of a 7 goal haul. Gee this bloke can play.

Reading down the column. Williamstown " " " despite six goals for Ben Kinnear " " " WAIT A MINUTE - 6 GOALS BEN KINNEAR!!! I f'n missed the game that I was waiting all week to go to until I dragged myself 3 hours away for only one day, the day where Ben kicked 6 goals.

And not only that, I was unable to beat Mr. Magic himself, I have been waiting since 2002 to meat the man, He has said something to me at a 1999 Family day but that was when i was 12 and the BK Army was not formed.

Bloody hell, bloody Sunday's are taken up by some stupid School Deb practice and Willie games are always on the bloody Sunday, if not Collingwood is playing on the Saturday as is Willie or it is too far away to go watch Ben play and get another Best on for Williamstown.

Yeah sorry guess-who, should of backed you up earlier on this one. First of all,
Kinnear- was awesome, screw this wind bull****.He was best on ground for Willy and he only played 3 Qtrs, he was under the pump as the main forward and he produced. The ind was up one end and funny enough the only end Willy could get the ball down.BK had one opportunity against the wind, 50 metres out and i watched it sail straight over my head for a goal.

Walker- Really, really good. Held the backline together until the enslaught in the final term, really impressive.

Crow- Terrific game, top 3 for Willy, solid defence, solid rucking and fine skills out of an under-the-hammer defensive 50. Doesnt panic, should be on our senior list. Who is Zane Leonard? (huge mistake there)

R.Shaw-O.K, he wasnt happy all day, didnt get a tonne of the pill but when he was on Travis Johnstone, Johnno knew about it.

King-he better start looking for a full time job.

Maxwell-like Walker,Kinnear and Crow, he stayed well composed and he did some really solid things. really good mark and has a good work ethic.

H.Shaw-equal stats with Brayden

B.Shaw-equal stats with the runner

Shack-Should apply for a job at the same place Kingy does

Mullins-He was good, but even better and worthy of great admiration is his girlfriend, she is a stunner, on ya Luke. In our best.

Williams-Shocker, even by his standards. Trade bait. "we'll take the part time 37 year old plumber who plays in the back pocket and has a dodgy knee from Nar Nar goon for Andrew Williams". Not fair you say? Ok, throw in Shackleton

Lokan, 1/10 for performance, 10/10 for entertainment. When he was giving **** back to the Sandi fans we were right behjind it, it was great. Lokan has some serious issues, think he will play a lot more VFL footy this season.

McGough-Shouldnt be in the VFl for starters, confidence killer, was horrible against the zebras.

Sandi fans-Disgraceful.

Did i mention that BK was brilliant?
