I know this is a while off and a bit hypothetical, but Willo has indicated interest in staying in footy after retirement. He's unsure about Sydney ever having the intention of making him an offer, of course!
My feeling is that Brett Allison is the "latest" retiree that we have on the coaching panel. Not exactly shiny and new is Brett and more of a forwards coach I understand.
In 2 years I would love to see Willo in the Cresswell (for Lions) type role, as the coach with the most intimate knowledge of current player lists and so forth.
Not sure how he would go at the senior gig, but in the mean time, he would be very useful, after all, he's one of a kind in our team. He could really help some of those young guys read the packs and run through the middle.
Thoughts for or against?
