Researchers in Public Health at Flinders University are working on a research project about football and alcohol amongst SANFL fans. They’re currently looking for volunteers to do interviews of 45 to 60 mins length. They can be done individually one-on-one or as a focus group if you have a group of around 7 or 8 friends.
Each volunteer who takes part in an interview or focus group for the Culture of Alcohol in Australian Rules Football Project will be given one entry in a prize draw to win one 2006 Category 1 SANFL AAMI Stadium membership, including the cost of a new membership joining fee.
So, if youre interested in being part of a major research project or you want your opinions about alcohol and football known, call research fellow Kirrilly Thompson on 8204 6329, or email: kirrilly.thompson@flinders.edu.au to arrange a convenient time for an interview - you dont have to be a drinker to participate!
