Window Regulator

So the window regulator in my car has gone. My question is due you need a specific regulator for a specific model? The guy seems to think it will be $700 to replace and there's no way I'm paying that much for that.

Anyone able to help?

Mine cost about 600 bucks when mine went. Don't know anything about them but id imagine they would change from model to model as to fit the door.

Yes they are specific to each model. Some for rare cars can be fairly expensive. I have seen some regulators up to $1000.

Yeah I searched the model on Ebay and have found them worth $150.

Pretty easy to do yourself from youtube vids.
