Western Bulldogs: Farren Ray, Robert Murphy, Chris Grant, Daniel Cross, Rohan Smith, Brad Johnson, Scott West, Mitch Hahn, Lindsay Gilbee, Daniel Bandy, Daniel Giansiracusa, Luke Darcy, Sam Power, Ryan Griffen, Adam Cooney, Cameron Faulkner, Patrick Bowden, Ben Harrison, Jordan McMahon, Jade Rawlings, Ryan Hargrave, Tim Walsh, Will Minson, Kieran McGuinness, Brad Murphy, Wayde Skipper, Brian Harris, Matthew Boyd.

Sydney: Jarrad McVeigh, Ryan O’Keefe, Craig Bolton, Josh Willoughby, David Spriggs, Nic Fosdike, Adam Schneider, Stephen Doyle, Darren Jolly, Tadhg Kennelly, Heath James, Matthew Nicks, Jude Bolton, Sean Dempster, Mark Powell, Lewis Roberts-Thomson, Brett Kirk, Amon Buchanan, Jarred Moore, Guy Campbell, Tim Schmidt, Luke Vogels, Heath Grundy, Paul Bevan, Stefan Garrubba, Earl Shaw, Ed Clarke, Nick Potter.

Obviously, they are not the final teams as there are too many players... who do you think will be pruned from the squad on Saturday?

I would guess the line up would be as follows

B: C. Bolton G.Campbell H.James
HB: P.Bevan L.Roberts-Thomson T.Kennelly
C: J.McVeigh J.Bolton D.Spriggs
HF: R.O'Keefe L.Vogels N.Fosdike
F: A.Buchanan S.Doyle M.Nicks
R: D.Jolly B.Kirk A.Schneider
Int: J.Moore T.Schmidt H.Grundy M.Powell S.Dempster J.Willoughby
Emg: E.Shaw N.Potter E.Clarke S.Garrubba

Basically thats the best balanced line up I could come up with.

The Swans line-up doesn't look very tall or experienced but it does look extremely quick.
Hopefully we can exploit their lack of talls but I think it's going to be be a good test for both teams.

Roberts-Thomson, James and Campbell are all key positition types, and then there's Vogels who played up forward last week but can play in the backline too.

Lack of experience and quick I'll agree with but small......

....nah not a chance.

Of the 27 listed to play on Saturday, 13 are 189cm or taller, of which only one I expect not to play. Thats just under half the squad, so you'll stuggle to expose lack of height.

C.Bolton - 190cm
S.Dempster - 192cm
S.Doyle - 204cm
H.James - 189cm
D.Jolly - 200cm
T.Kennelly - 190cm
R.O'Keefe - 190cm
M.Powell -193cm
L.Roberts-Thomson - 195cm
G.Campbell - 196cm
H.Grundy - 192cm
E.Shaw - 199cm
L.Vogels - 194cm

A lot of those players mentioned play off the flanks more than the KP.
Roberts-Thompson is the key for the Swans. If he can hold down CHB then the Swans running players like Kennelly might be able move the ball quickly into the forward line.

Should be a good test for both teams.

If Rawlings plays as a forward who do you see lining up against he, Bandy and Grant? I also wouldn't be surprised to see Darcy spend some time there as well.

Kennelly and O'Keefe are only full time flankers so to speak, the rest are able to hold down key position or ruck roles, with Bolton, Dempster and Powell able to play on the flanks if needed.

LRT on Rawlings, James on Bandy and Campbell on Grant.
