The WNBA season began today.
Seattle defeated Minnesota 88-85. Lauren Jackson scored a lazy 31 points (11-16, 7-8FT), 5 Rebounds, 2 Blocks.
The "Experts" are tipping Seattle to finish last in the Western Conference this season. Quite unbelievable when they have the League MVP, 3 other all-stars (Bird, Sam and Lennox) and a couple of other internationals (Vodichkova and Bevilaqua). They believe the Olympics and the possible effect it may have on the team as their reasons for placing them last.
Jackson has never finished last in her life.
