i have had enough of people having a crack at woey. He was 2nd in the B&F last year and had a great year. Hasnt had a great start to the year and people wont give him a chance. Chad Morrison, Rowe and Lonie were all worse than him today give him a break and let him have a 2nd chance

i thought he did play a ok game today he tried as much as he could i think ppl also should give him a chance only been back for a few weeks.

Id drop them all, with the exception of Rowe who at least has a long term future.

i think most ppl are not having a go at woey for his skill or work ethic, i think his problem is is that he is soft and is to worried about where the next hit is gonan come from then actually worryign about trying to get the ball! He is soft and if we keep him i dont think it should be for more than 200,000, coz he isnt worth it!

was disappointed in woey today, thought he looked disinterested at times, and was lacksadaisical in a few contests, took it easy......but when he had it his skills were generally ok

his job on Bruce in the second half was disappointing

The biggest problem with Woey is that he has lost all his pace and is too slow. Has to go at the end of the year. Has been good for the pies but is now finished...

He finished second in the B&F because he played every game because of the massive injuries we had in 04.

He is playing crap footy.
Reasons
1. Too slow
2. Will not put his body on the line
3. Fly's for marks (from behind where he won't get hit) against Tarrant and Cloke.
4. His decision making is pathetic
5. Turns over the ball like a first year player
6. Hears foot steps
7. Have I mentioned that he is too slow?

I thought that Woewy was reasonable in the first half. He provided run and his kicking seemed a lot better than it had been earlier in the year. I was extremely impressed with a gather and handball that he managed to get off at one stage. It still shows he does have some of the exquisite skills we would like to think he possesses.
That said, there is a saying in football that states: "When the going gets tough, the tough get going." And when it did, Woewy simply didnt get going.
Perhaps harsh, but at critical stages when the match was slipping from the Pies' reach, fumbling or poor attack on the football cost the side dearly.
I hope that this does not spell the end for him, however being out of contract at the end of the year and now not a walk-up starter in the 22, he has tough times ahead.
Let's hope he "gets going" this time for his sake, because I believe he can still be a valuable contributor in the side.

i would have to agree with that, it showed even last year when you guys played port and he was chasing S.burgoyne and didnt even try and catch him!
