Discounting "Priority Round" and the picks given to Frementle, who has been the wordt ever "Priority Pick"? There has been some awesome players in Riewoldt, Hodge, Judd etc and some players who are really starting to shine in Cooney, Deledio, Roughead, Griffen and Murphy, but who has been the worst?

Hodge is a grey area. He was a PP in that he came before the draft, however, he was not originally hawthorn's PP, as we acquired the pick through trade.

Impossible to judge, aswe compare to thos later on, rather then the actual worth of a player

Hodge is a champion, an absolute beauty, to say he was a waste is complete rubbish he's done pretty much more than anyone besides Judd in his draft in regards to leadership, teamwork and raw skill/talent. Mind you he had to put up with our rebuilding phase Hawthorn team as well, but no doubt this year he's really going to shine as we are ready to start fighting for the flag.

If he doesn't perform I've been proven wrong and perhaps he was a waste of a PP, but what he showed against Collingwood last week before he did his hammy, gives me an indication that he might just be better than Judd and would of put a smile on every Hawthorn fan, he can bomb it from outside 50 any day of the week, which Judd seems to be struggling to do after his injury. 103 supercoach points at half time before getting injured, what a great player.

Judd, Bartel, Ablett, Dal Santo and like 10 others from the 2001 draft > Hodge. He's good, but he's overrated.

Priority Picks do come in the form of picks 17 or whatever it was last year ? So why not use some of those names too?

Gary Ablett was a father son pick so that was out of our control. He was always going to go to Geelong so his name should be excluded, Bartel I can't argue there, if you'd rather have Dal Santo then Hodge then........... gosh you needed to type Luke Hodge into youtube and watch last weeks highlight against Collingwood.

Garry Ablett could have been your father son if you held on to his father

The one where did his hammy?

Yes the one where he did his hammy. The same game where he had 15 kicks, 2 goals, 3 first possessions, 3 clearances and 6 inside 50's in 1 half of football.
