do you guys reckon getting an african player like essondon are doin be worth it? worth a try? would you want richmond to do similar in the future? the guy essondon are looking at seeems athlelik and tall, but if someone like richo crashed into him itd be bad......... i reckon they (africans) wont be able to match the game phisically.......

Depends on the individual really. You get soft cox and hardmen from all races and nationalities.

I used to play footy with this little African kid and he was tough as nails (wasn't that skilful though).

You are thinking along the same lines as me. I was thinking more of a Ukrainian Cossack or a Whirling Dervish- imagine how a Dervish could spin out of packs.
The problem I see with Eskimo recruits is that we won't be able to supply them with enough whale blubber. Another problem- in the offseason- show them a cricket bat and they'll be looking for baby seals to club

How about some of those fallujah insurgents - at least we know they will put up a fight. Or how about an arab from the gaza we know that they put their body on the line.

Or maybe the guy who thought up the idea of the Israeli wall - He has a great mind for defence.

Or what about some of those pitcairn island guys - they seem to like to dominant and adhere to the footy theory "what happens on the island stays on the island"

Yeh, but if someone ever throws a leopard or jaguar on to the G when the Dons and the Tigers are playing I'd bet the African dude would be smart enough to run the other way......
Bet richo would be lame enough to try and tell the animal off for crowding the forward line...
