MELBOURNE DEMONS!!!
after reading and replying to the 'settling down' thread, and having a discussion with a friend of mine who asked 'is it worth having a boyfriend' i thought id put it on here.

do you think, at a young age (between about 15 on 25), its worth being in a serious relationship?? or is it better to be single and free and do as (and who ;) ) you wish??

HELL YEAH!!!

nah, i am in a relationship, but a friend asked me if i think its worth it... she reckons that especially while being on holidays, it must be hard to have to turn people away to stay faithful, but if you were single, you wouldnt have to worry! i guess theres more to it than just being with people, but is now that age??

If you're trying to justify the relationship it's probably not as healthy as it may be. Speaking from my own experience you generally have more fun between 16 and 24 if you aren't in a "serious, long term" relationship.

That doesn't mean it applies to anyone else.

im not trying to justify it AT ALL!! im curious as to what other people think, for themselves. for my relationship, i dont care what other people think - we'll do what we want. but for other people and their wants, i think its interesting...

It really depends...if you're asking these sorts of questions then you're probably ready to be set free!! If you really want to be with this guy, you would be responding to your own question with a, "Hell yeah, its more than worth it!!".. That you're not, gives you your answer.

I dont want to be in a relationship, but i say that only because i havent met the right person for it. I am sure when i do, my mind will swiftly change!! :D

no, no, no... dont get me wrong, im VERY happy with my boyfriend, but i found it strange that some people find it strange to want to be in a relationship at this age. i mean yeah, im only 16, but im doing what i want to be doing, with who i want to do it with.

So you just want some holiday action off someone else?

Haven't you seen Road Trip!

no..that's not it...

yep thats the one :)

lol, seems that way!! i dont need any advice at all! i was just interested in what people thought with their own relationships! my mind is made up, and has been for months now - im happy :)

Couldn't agree more. Did the Tom Green or the guy who played Stifler in AP say that.

lol, no... i just been away... i was in bondi the past week, which was amazing! thats pretty much how our convo came up. coz of all the guys there, and she thought it wouldnt be worth being in a relationship i could go round picking up left right and center.

but to me, i guess it doesnt matter where i am, i only want one person, and thats my boyfriend!

I think it depends on the person. For me, I'm 24 & just about to get married....we've just bought a house together as well. I don't think I'm to young, & I still have lots of fun & do whatever I like.

While it probably would be nice to be in a relationship...it usually is.....I am more than happy being single at the moment.....going out is way more fun when you are single......and no I am not there to pick up.....there to have fun with my friends and meet new people.......no ties.....I like that.....

I found ppl to be at a silly age up till i was about 16/17. Too many guys pretending they loved u with all their hearts just to get sex in fact i am fairly sure one of them had a bet with the neighbourhood guys that he would score off me  when i didn't give in of course he cheated. Better than being used tho. So then i stayed away from guys for a while and was quite happy being single for a few years and just going out and being a ****tease footyslut.
