He is a regular in the test team as 12th man but as long as everyone is fit he doesn't play as the pace attack is Lee, McGrath and Gillespie.
 
I like Andy Bichel's bowling, but he just can't squeeze past McGrath, Gillespie and Lee. Although I think he has more of a chance with the One Day team on a skidding or hard wicket.
 
The worry I have with Andy Bichel is that he seems to struggle to bowl out good batsman unless the wicket is offering some sideways movement. When he plays for Queensland on that "green" GABBA wicket, it suits his style of bowling and he is capable of taking lots of wickets but most times I've seen him play for Australia he struggles.

The wickets over in England would also suit Andy's style of bowling in my opinion. :)

What happened to that fella Ben Nicholson or something?.Played a semi Ashes series. Has he died or was he juist no good?

I'm not sure who you mean but Matthew Nicholson from WA played at least 1 test against the Poms the one I can remember was the Boxing Day test. He still plays for WA and I think he even made a ton with the bat this season.

I thought Matthew Nicholson got injured and was having trouble even landing the ball on the wicket for a while but has worked his way back into the WA side last season. I'm not sure we'll see him play for Australia again though.
