Reece's 'Good Night' sounded very similar to Pink's 'Raise Your Glass'

Out of the three winners singles, I liked Andrew's the best, followed by Reece and Johnny. Having said that, I somewhat expect the result to be the reverse of this.

Call me retro but the only bit i enjoyed in the grand final was Johnny and Salt/Peppa. I don't want the english brat to win. Rather Johnny or Andrew. Though it looks like the show wants the english kid to win despite being devoid of a personality

My Dad raised an interesting point tonight.

In terms of the prize money, it would be best if Andrew wins, that way it can help him with his mortgage, other loans etc etc and while he will probably have a music career, it won't be as long as Johnny or Reece, who will get picked up by a recording label if they don't win anyway, and make their own fair share of money.

Still think Reece should win though

andrew's song is a winner. definitely the right song to suit his voice.

Somewhat surprisingly Johnny was the first to go in the final.

Which left us with Andrew and Reece as the final two.

And it's Reece who's the winner of X Factor 2011

It's very close to Raise Your Glass (I originally thought it was a cover until I checked the title of the single on the X Factor website).

While Reece will have a career, I'm not that big a fan of this song.

The right contestant one - the one with the most chance at having a successful career out of this. I just hope they don't keep making him do that Avril Lavigne pop crap and let him build up his own rock cred. It'll help him keep more of those teeny bopper fans who will get over this year's X Factor and move on to the next one at the click of a finger. Or fingers. At the flick of a switch?
