He'll last far longer than Casey Donovan. His album will go to no. 1, it's the second album that'll make or break him.

But he's got a lot more appeal than most of these talent show winners, so I can see him sticking around for a while at least.

The song does suck though.
 
The song is too poppy, which I guess means it appeals to a broader 15-yr-old girl style audience, but Reece's strengths are his Steven Tyler-style scream, which is typical of rock songs like Dream On and Paradise City, which were his best performances- so hopefully he releases an album down the track that is full of songs like that.

His debut album are the songs he sang in the final 12 performances.
 
I got served by one of the twins from Up Front at a bar in Rod Laver Arena yesterday.

Conversation lasted no more than 10 seconds.

Me: "You were on X Factor, yeah?"
Her: "Yeah, with my twin."
Me: "Cool"
Her: "We're going back again next year, vote for us. We have improved heaps."
Me: "I will" (aka I won't really)
Me: "Ronan really liked you guys"
Her: "Yeah, he did"
Me: "So which twin are you?" (expecting her to tell me her name)
Her: "I'm front."

When she told me to vote for them, I so badly wanted to ask, "How can I vote for you if you aint even good enough to make the final twelve?"

Plus when I told her Ronan really like them, I wanted to add "he wanted a threesome with you." Decided against it.

She's a bit weird. But there's something about them I sort of like. I can't make out what it is.

But yeah, just get prepared for them again in 2012. Hopefully Ronan is replaced.

I can't wait to see Tara-Lynn Sharrock this year. A stupid VISA issue ruined any chance she had of winning last series, but she has one of the purest voices I have ever heard. She is simply outstanding. Assuming she goes back (from what I am hearing, she is very keen to try out again), she should theoretically be at Black Caviar odds to win the series. Realistically, someone will win who doesn't deserve to, but that's the voting system for you.

Listen to some of her covers. She does a brilliant Delta Goodrem cover, as well as a great Celine Dion rendition. One of her own songs (I think it's her own) called Dissolving is very catchy. I love it.

She auditioned for The Voice this year. Expect to see her on that instead.

Of course. Channel ten would have looked stupid to accept her after she auditioned for a channel seven show.
