Unfortunately no.The only thing you can do is run backups with the 360 as far as i know,i just use my modded Xbox 1 to play roms and emulators works great.

I've read on other forums/sites that I need mame emulator for xbox 360 (or something?)
Clearly I'm not too techincal
I would be happy to pay for the priveledge if someone could assist/set this up/burn on a disc for me?? (if at all possible).

I'm not sure what the 360 scene is like these days, but you will need a mod chip at the very least, and would most likely need to renege your xbox live status in order to be able to homebrew like that. A cheap PC is the way to go if you want to do that, imo. I was running MAME on my PC 10 years ago without any hassle, so you only need a cheap POS PC to get it working fine. I can show you how to work it on PC, if you want.
