Xbox Chips

Has anyone purchased the xbox xhip yet so that you can burn games etc...?

I was just wondering because I found a place to buy one from but I think it looks really technical to put in and stuff coz you have to solder ****.

So does anyone have one or know of anyone who does?

With the Evolution X chip you can copy the games onto the Hard Drive of the Xbox, and even get a larger hard drive to copy the games onto.
Not sure about some of the other chips though.

I need a chip for my XBox which allows me to play US games on my Australian XBox. Where can I get one of those?

Jod, try the trading post if you have it over there, or computer fairs if they are also over there also.

Copying games to the hard drive was mentioned anyone know approx how much room a game takes up on the hard drive???

Well, a normal DVD game is is 4.7 Gig, so at the most that how much space it will take up on the drive.
But a lot of the games are a lot smaller than that. Sport's games for instance never usually take up that much space.
