Yahoo redirecting automatically

does anyone else have yahoo.com (USA) as their homepage?

if so is anyone else experiencing problems whereby you open your browser (for me firefox) and it loads as the australian yahoo page. i dont want the aussie page. seems like im not the only one (there are others complaining all over the web) but wanted to see if anyone here has the same problem.

I just typed in www.yahoo.com and got the standard (US) one.

I might be wrong, but if you have a Australian based email address and you are logged in that might be leading you to the Australian site.

nope. cookies werent cleared, history was (automatic with my FF settings).

Mine did this just now when I typed in yahoo.com, however typing in www.yahoo.com made it go to the US.

People on Dial up always have this problem. It is a Dial up problem. It doesn't like loading up the page and for some reason it will redirect you to the yank's site.

well the problem is bbbaaaaacccckkkk.

googled this issue of redirection and im not the only one who's pissed.

its geographically based so if you're in canada you'll be redirected to the canadian yahoo site!
