I found out the hard way that US VCR's are not compatible with Euro and Australian VCR's. No problem. Lesson learned and overcome.

Does anyone know if there are any differences with the Playstation 2?

I can't find an Australian Rules Football PS2 game over here (no demand). I was going to order one, or perhaps swap someone out for an NFL game - perhaps Madden 2003.

Would there be no problems with this? Is the PS2 universal?

No, American Games are NTSC format while Australian Games are PAL format.

I think you need a PAL Modchip if you wish to play Australian games on your PS2 Console (I am assuming you are in America from your Location details)

Yeah I know, it sucks. At least we got Multi-Region DVD Players now. Or Region 0 which plays in everything.

They should have the same thing for PS2 games.
