I would have thought a team with Bartell, Ablett etc would stand a good chance of winning.

I don't see al the hype with Hille. He has averaged around 80 ish for the the last 4 years. I just don't see where the improvement will come from.

Pendlebury can't hack a tag.

Goddard is better then Fisher so maybe he could be added.

I would say the three big ones are COX, Ablett and Bartell.

Because there is a good reason that they are cheaper. How can you compare Cox to Leunberger? Riewoldt to Cloke? Ablett to Ball? Even Bartel to Selwood? I would love to see your team mate.

I am comparing players that will score about the same.
Ball will average 125, Ablett wil laverage 126, hardly any difference.
Bartel will average 113, Selwood 117. And Selwood is heaps cheaper.
Riewoldt will average 102, Cloke 100, so about the same also.

If you are actually serious......downgrade Leunberger and add that money to a decent ruck instead of Gilmore. That would be a good start.

WHat is wrong with Gilmore? Is being played off half back this year and with the rolling zones you want almost your whole supercoach team to play off half back. Had 105 supercoach points 2 weeks ago so obviously fitting into the role well.

Also, lets not forget that 105 SC points was against the might of the Eagles.

If you like a player that plugs gaps in the back half and hoofs it long randomly to a team mate or an opponent then Gilmore is your man. The clanger king. Check out his DT V SC ratio. Biggest hack playing in AFL.

A few things.

Players like Thomas and Cloke. Thomas doesn't get enough of it to score well, even if he can use it well. Cloke butchers the ball

Gilmore. Enough said

Leuey on the bench. Too much cash there.

Plus you need a good ruck. Ruck is where the most variance occurs. The best ruck compared to say the fifth best can easily be 25-30 points. While the top mid compared to the fifth best may only be 5-15 points. By not getting a top ruck, then a lot of points are lost. You don't even have to get Cox. Sandi, Petrie or Hille will get you 80-90 most weeks.

The team flat out sucks.

If you're trying to throw people off so close to lockout then I commend you, but if you're seriously going to use that theory you have no hope. Way too many mid-priced plodders that you will be completely overwhelmed mid-season when most of the top teams will be stacked with SC elite.
