For those who were sitting on the wing closest to the Freo Bench would have seen this. Fortunately I had a great view of this as I was right next to the dockers bench.
As Ryan Crowley was having a breather and taking a short walk on the boundary line, some of the avid blues supporters were giving him an absolute earfull about his job on Judd as well as plenty more. Of course, he continued walking and at the same time gave a cheeky smirk as if to say "You bunch of wackers.". As he came back to the bench, he had a sudden 'itch' on his cheek and cleared that up by using only his middle finger. alas the bird! Of course this broke out in laughter and bronx cheers by the blues masses.
Sports reporter Kelly underwood right in front of me was quick to report it to the ABC commentary box and everyone had a laugh.
Don't see it often but was great stuff and one of the funniest things I've seen
