11 kids 22yrs and under last night.. simply amazing that the club has got them playing like this.

Pendlebury and Beams to come back in.. and McCarthy, Dawes, Clarke, N Brown and Reid banging down the door as well.. what a list!

As I said somewhere else, we've got a bright future for our team. I'm hoping Beams recovers from his injury and plays next week, because getting our younger guys finals experience will be important for them. Sidey needs to play next week, no questions asked.

Can't wait to see Chris 'The Caveman' Dawes come into the side next year.

Wood who is getting better and better with experience just needs to keep confident.

Pendlebury, already an out and out star.

Beams, looks all class and tough as nails too.

Sidebottom, wow last night just made me think about how good he will be

not to mention didak, davis, swan who will be starting to get old but i expect davis to stay forward but swan will still be tearing it up and didak can just do what he wants.

Also, mccarthy who has had huge wraps by everyone, wellingham, blair and co i cannot wait to see these guys flourish.

The forwards will be much similar, Cloke and anthony are already good solid plyayers jsut imagine them in 2-3 years. Cloke if he gets his kicking right will be a marquee center half forward.

Dick, Dawes, and an old med and davis will provide alot of stability to the forwards.


The backs is where some questioned collingwood but boy does it look good now. The perfect mix presti will go leaving nath brown who is already good enough to step into the job, Leigh brown will move on opening the door for someone i think will be a great backman for us in Ben Reid, yes very raw but is tearing it up in the vfl.

Shaw, Obrien, Maxwell and toves will be hitting there straps.

I will enjoy seeing this team dominate in the future years

this is our 4th year in a row in finals, i dont see us bottoming out in the next 6-7 years.

And no mention of a player who looked almost the best of the lot in the night final with so much gut running - Daisy Thomas.

Don't get your hopes up about Cloke's kicking. Needs to train right footed for those under 30 metres.

Share your optimism on Sidebottom, with a quiet thought on Beams. I think Sidebottom has more upside but both could easily end up 200 game players. Well done Hine and team.
