Mine was the Heritage round a few years ago (when we wore the candy stripe jumper) Vs Essendon. Down by 10 goals to 2 at quarter time, Lloyd 6 goals! Hastily headed for the exit even earlier than usual! I remember leaving most games well before the finish during those two years, what was the point watching yet another thrashing! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE years!!:thumbsd:

Easily the come back win against North.. My foxtel was down and it was pouring rain, so i caught transport to the Kennel and watched it with a room full of doggies fans.
Felt like going home at 3/4 time but just like every other game in those years i never lost faith, hung around and boy was it worth it. When that siren went it was as if we had broken our premiership drought!

Was that the game when Johno tried as hard as he could to not kick that goal from 5 meters out? In the end almost tripping over the ball as it crossed the line? Great game.

Favourite memories. Staying till the end(at least i got to learn other clubs theme songs)

You're better than me!
Nothing worse than giving up your day off from work to watch insipid rubbish!
I remember arriving home by half time of that Essendon game and i live about 25 km's from the ground!

Hearing we'd signed an unproven coach on a three year deal, after just one game in charge.

That, and the Mastermind banner.

His insistence on the players calling him Peter, as some sort of mark of respect

Actually, nothing beats the late Gnome Murphy and his weekly "cheap as chips" diatribes on this forum. God knows we needed a laugh during those 2 bleak Winters.

Would have to be Garlicks and Croftys last game. New coach had been announced, Crofty was tearing it up as a key forward, our young blokes looked the goods, we were winning and it didn't affect our draft selections one bit.

I think this was a few rounds into his first season after we got the savior Rawlings. Anyway after Rawlings hacked away like so many shots being down around 1.4 or 1.5, Rhode covers his eyes has Rawlings marks it again 30m out. He couldnt bare to watch his gun recruit kick for goal LOL

Seeing him two weeks ago in the coaches box next to Choco Williams.....

Glad to see him in their and not ours.

It always gives me a chuckle to see him sitting there with that dim look on his face. I hope he feels a slight sting every time he sees Gilbee kick a goal from outside 50..
