Should be interesting getting back on the course. pre-covid and pre-injury i used to hit a draw. Then after i fully recovered i was hitting a fade. Then after the first lockdown i was hitting a draw again. Hopefully I come out of this lockdown with a natural fade. Realistically I should be hoping i can just hit the ball though haha

Yeah I am thankfully, also within 10km of PKGC so feel free to just transfer that membership to me until you can get back there

I already know my swing will have changed. I am going to try a much more relaxed, natural approach rather than 500 swing thoughts and trying to force positions that I used to do on course.

Members who are within the National zone will nearly get the course to themselves

One things for sure courses are going to be back to back with bookings and getting a spots going to be a nightmare for a while.

That's why I'm not too annoyed about the travel limits. I won't be able to get to my club till November and hopefully by then it's died down somewhat. It will be like last year

Love a 5/5.30pm start, no one is generally around so can get around in 2.5 hours

In Hobart it's about 915 the sun sets. 630 tee off gives easily 3 hours of playing time. Love it.

I also enjoy a late tee off. Have done 730-9 before - couple of holes, ended up at the driving range surrounded by mozzies

Coming down the 16th and 17th Gunna with the afternoon sun casting shadows and highlighting the subtle undulations of the course is when life doesn't get much better.

Reckon around a 3pm Sunday tee off in a 2 ball with very few others on the property, experience the golden hour, finish about 6.30-7pm and head for a bite to eat on the way home is as good as golf gets.

Probably my most enjoyable round ever was Royal Adelaide. 36c day. I arrived at 430. About 32c. One group on the course about 8 holes in front. Finished about 8pm, 26c, not a cloud in the sky or breath of wind. Walked off shooting 80 and the only person on the course. Heaven.

Id say 16-18 on the Old course is better IMPO

Royal Adelaide is a special place.
