Thanks, it was just a little frustrating, played some unreal golf though for what I can put out.

We had a random Irish guy join us - played junior Irish Am open and stuff, was after Rory but choose football, played professional. Now just lives in Aus and took up golf after 10 years or more not playing. off 5 again.

He shot a 75 with hire clubs, he had a magnificent swing and a leftie too.

I was dead set flushing them on the warm up range. Strutted to the first tee then proceeded to cut one into the scrub. PK is a ripper golf club, looks sensational and is great fun to play. Better fun they say if you hit them straight, apparently.

shot a nett 69 today and lost another stroke off the handicap, now at 16.1. Have shaved off 5 shots in 2026 so far. Probably would have won the day if I didn't decide stroke day was a good time to try out a new putter.

I shouldn't be sad with my round but I am.

23 points on the back 9 (my front) but double on 18 urgh. 38 off stick. On for my first sub 80 and then went cold with the putter. Hit 65% GIR and had 39 points.

Finish with 81 and 39 points. It was my day to break 80 and I choked it. Clubs away for another 3 months.

Man, I long for the day where i'd be unsatisfied with an 81.

I'm disappointed with a 5 over, which included a triple.
That wasn't the worst hole I played. Twice I over clubbed into a swirling breeze that was strong into my face, then when I hit it felt like it was behind me.
9 GIR, 31 putts, x4 birdies.
3 over at the turn and should've been even.
Drove really well when I needed to.
Overall very good but missing a green with PW in your hand is infuriating.
3 mistakes cost me 4 shots at least.
A lot of 'coulda' from today's round.

If you are shooting 88s when you think you played crap, you will end up a lot lower than 18.

Wembley Tuart course this morning. Started triple, triple, then got it back under control to be 10 over at halftime. Kept the damage to a minimum, on to the 14th, blind downhill dog leg left, water at the left and back of the green, bunker to the right. On in reg, 1st putt 25 feet, left it a foot from the pin. Proceeded to 4 putt. Anyway finished 17 over. Glad I was able to regroup somewhat after the poor start, disappointed I had the poor start.

arvo round with a mate at heritage today. It was humid and rained. Hated it. Fairways very decent. the rough is shit. like what you see at a playground.

Played pennant yesterday at my old home town track of Woorayl in Leongatha. I spent the first 9 reminiscing and got out to an early lead. My opponent chipped his way back into it (literally, his approach and short games were amazing) and it was square after 14 holes. I took 15, halved 16 and then drained a long birdie putt on 17 to take the match.

It was my first time playing match play and I think it’s now my favourite format of golf.

Must also say that compared to memories of my childhood to course was in amazing condition. But the trees were a touch bigger…

My opponent did not give me a single putt, even tap ins. I gave him everything when he was closing in on me on the back nine so he couldn’t get into a rhythm. In my extensive one game match play experience I feel like that’s a good tactic.
