a few nights ago me and a few mates were going through a few lists and this question popped up. now this is overall sports and not dedicated players. a lot of same type of players popped up like

(non current)
Hird
lloyd
Richo
Michael Jordan
Shane Warne and so on

but one of our mates who is a bit of a twit had everyones eyebrows raised when he said the following

his favourite player of all time is Brent Prismall from essendon.

a player who has achieved nothing in his career except being drafted and traded was his favourite player of all time.

pretty much the point of this thread was to bag out this flog but i would be interested to see if anyone else had some amazing selections.

Without trying to cause trouble or troll, I would like to point out your somewhat ironic comments regarding Prismall in your OP. It's not often I stick up for Essendon, but you bag your mate for picking Prismall who you say "has achieved nothing", yet you pick Dustin Martin, who has achieved nothing yet as well.... Sorry, just a bit ironic :p

not really ironic because dusty is in my current list not all time list

you cant have a favourite player of all time in there because he has good looking hair (my mates words not mine) we call homo but he stand by no homo

Well, when I was younger my all time favourite player at Collingwood was Nick Davis. Don't ask me why, I don't know.

While I do agree to some degree that soccer is quite corrupt (especially FIFA & UEFA) I don't quite think that is overpaid as much as some other sports in the States. You look at baseball and their football and it's a joke how much those guys get paid who are IMHO borderline athletic to start with. A punter in NFL get paid gazillions to just go in and kick the ball and that's all he does. Basketball is ridiculously overpaid eventhough i believe it's the only good sport in the States.
Sorry i know I'm deviating from the topic but it gets me going when i think about it....
