Sat next to the cheer squad today, well done on getting the fans up and chanting, I loved joining in.

But what the hell is "zinger zanger"?? Seriously, am I missing something? It made me want a KFC burger...

Actually I think it's zigger zagger, zigger zagger oi oi oi.

That forms one of the spectator chants for a local suburban team Gepps Cross here in Adelaide.

Are there any old Gepps Crossians - if that's the word - on this board who know the whole warcry??

Played against them in juniors. They were terrible.

The object of the game always was to kick 40+

We use to do that cheer in the North Cheer Squad back in the 70's (as did most clubs).

"Zigger Zagger - Mike Patterson"
"Zigger Zagger - Victory"
"1-2-3-4 Listen to the Roosters Roar"

Then proceed into the clapping "Roosters" cheer.

I can remember that but do you reckon I can remember anything I learnt at school? And besides since when do roosters roar?
