Merbein is on its knees due to poor a committee and un ethical actions. Take a leave out of Imperials book play locals, target a good playing coach, increase payments on games played, and dont get half a dozen non locals to stay in town for 12 months then piss off!!!

Guys wasn't intending to contribute to the forum however after hearing about the s**t BigBadBambill shares on here just wanted to express that the players are embarrassed by his comments and that they don't reflect the attitude and beliefs of the club (players and committee). :mad:

To answer your quest Rig yes Joey Denaro is coaching Euston and they have picked up a 'couple' of young recruits from robinvale.:thumbsu:

joseph to coach along with b walter as his assistant, daniel rogers and Daniel irving have signed along with a handful of others around 20 at training most between the age 0f 20 to 26yrs good times ahead...

Played pretty well in my day may even strap them on for a few games this year havent played for 2 yrs but still show these young fellas a thing or 2

Looking at the clearances lads, just wondering why there isn't one for belly? Thought he would've done it by now. Not a lot of activity happening in terms of clearances for so called big names to the league. Seems to be a lot of chat for not much action.

Heard the Coach and Assistant Coach stood down over the weekend due to committee issues but have been persuaded to stay on board... plenty of their top players were ready to walk also so hopefully they have sorted their issues out with the season only around the corner.

Rocket you got any more details?

The Executive committee , most of the committee, some life members and other long time members have all walked away from the club

That is terrible to hear:eek: Surely if the people mentioned that hold titles like that feel so strongly on an issue they could use their collective powers to overcome the problem. (Kind of like Power Rangers:p)

What is the major issue, Mr President not understanding the nuances of a football club.... small man syndrome perhaps?
