Western Bulldogs v Melbourne

western bulldogs are the most overated team in the league. all their impressive wins come at etihad, away from etihad their not very good. only impressive win outside etihad was their win against the swans in shocking conditions where sydney always struggle in the wet. Other than that only 2 wins outside etihad against Richmond beginning of season (same richmond that lost to melbourne), and gold coast up in cairns without half their midfield. Will get hammered next week away from Etihad, and then wont play any finals at Etihad either so wont be a threat

Umpires on the Bulldogs payroll. One notable example is Stringer drops the ball after dropping a mark moments before and he isn't penalised for it.

Well done by Melbourne on not giving up and actually showing some fighting spirit! If they play similarly in the final quarter as they did in the third quarter I think their fans will be content (obviously disappointed) despite a terrible start.

Just upset that we beat your mob.
And we're still 7 goals up.

That's not unusual for upcoming teams too be weaker when away....

what were saying is at etihad they look like a genuine top 4 team and look unstoppable, but its a misrepresentation. they play the ground well thats all. outside of etihad they aren't a threat

That was a blatant push in the back.

How many good wins have the Eagles had outside Domain? Tigers at the G(the same Richmond team that lost to melbourne)....Oh.

big difference between smashing teams at etihad by 50+ week in week out and looking like a genuine threat, but then not being able to get any impressive wins away

Better let the Tigers and Swans supporters know their teams are s**t. They'd probably like to know.

In other news, WCE and Freo play better at DS. Port & Adelaide play better at AO. More at 6:00.

tigers at G, Collinwood at Etihad, port in adelaidi, and thats something your lot couldnt do, its also a big difference travelling across the whole asutralia, to just traveling from etihad to mcg

Umpiring has been nothing short of disgraceful. I don't really see why the umps need to crucify the Dees, it's not as if they are in touch.

Difference is those sides will play at their respective home grounds come finals time barring Grand Final day if everything goes their way and they have the privilege of playing a home final.

You'll have to play at the MCG if you have a home final so of course some are going to question whether the Bulldogs can stand up and replicate this form during finals time on a ground with a bigger surface.

The same thing occurred when people questioned St.Kilda's chances in 2009 despite being a top side all year because they hadn't played on the MCG enough to gain a good grasp or understanding as to whether they could play the oval well or not.
