"What I am led to believe they have been completely stooged and sucked in," McGuire said.

"It would seem that somebody's sucked these idiots into sending out photos and as a result they've got them and sold them to the media," McGuire told Triple M on Monday morning.

Looks like blame shifting to me.

And yet Zoo is cancelled because feminists dont like it. :(

Oh god. Zoo was not cancelled because feminists didn't like it. It was doing terribly sales wise for ages and the major supermarkets refusing to stock it was just the nail in the coffin - it probably would've folded not much after anyway. The main reason: teenage boys get their pr0n from the internet these days.

As a self described "Feminist" myself - yes I am just as outraged about what these women have done and what woman's day have done. It's illegal and those involved should be charged (including woman's day - they know the law, it's completely unacceptable). As far as I am concerned the players involved should be given a break - it's reasonable to expect that your privacy isn't breached for things like this. Sure being professionals maybe they should know better but making it their fault is victim blaming and just plain wrong.

Calling them idiots is not exactly blame shifting imho. Downplaying the severity more like it.
It is not like they asked the phone number of let's say a random woman in a Japanese restaurant and started sending pics.
They will get their due no doubt but apparently it is old news for them , new for us.

Did these chaps consent to this publication?

Are you suggesting that someone has deliberately caused an intimate image to be shared or exposed in the public domain when it was apparent, or ought to have been apparent that it was intended for private viewing?

Can someone explain to me why this is not attracting police attention under the legislation passed in Victoria in 2014 banning the publication of someone's intimate image without their consent?

Reverse genders on this.
A men's mag pays for nude photos of a female celebrity and publishes them without their consent. Regardless of the alleged infidelity, the feminist media (mamamia etc..) would rightly be all over this as **** shaming, invasion of privacy, sexism.

This is wrong and an invasion of privacy and just because they are male footballers does not make it right.
Woman's Day are the ones who published the nude photo of Bingle in the shower, no?

Probably. That was an absolute dogs act by Fevola. I wish he'd of done some time over that, it was low act, he should've been condemned. Much like these women should also be condemned. I know there wasn't revenge pr0n laws when Fev did it, but there is now, and these women should feel the full force of the law, as should the Woman's Day. Swan and Co need to release a media statement by tonight, and put some pressure on the authorities to investigate this.
