Depends on drainage - in many years of living in Brisbane I saw the Gabba dry out like magic after fierce and prolonged storms. Some grounds remain heavy. Not 100% sure about Subi.

I said Subi oval is basically a hill so should have pretty good natural drainage

Thunderstorms in the morning. Light winds becoming southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening.

In that case I will sleep better tonight knowing we beat Freo in contested possession in May when when Fyfe was leading the way for Freo in contested ball.
