Collingwood will make a huge play for him. And if they can convince Scharenberg to stay then that will be a big factor in Aish going there.

Why didn't Collingwood push to add Aish to the D Beams deal last year if they were interested?

I was talking to a Brisbane player today. Funnily enough, I coached him in under 16s. He states that Aish is not letting anything out, and he is very close to him. He advises Aish is very popular, but he's not giving anything away in regard to next year.
Said Aish was offered 320k to sign on last year, but Aish said no, cos he reckoned that he doesnt know if he would be worth more or less than that, so basically sat on the fence.

Make of it what you will.

Jimmy Butler made a similar gamble. He refused a good contract to see what he could get after one more season. He ended up with a max NBA deal (5 years, $80 million, I believe). More than $320k seems like overs.

I don't care what anyone says anymore and I'm off the fence. Tarrant is definitely an upgrade on Haritgan and we also definitely should make a play for him at seasons end. I believe 500k the complete max amount but see if we can get him cheaper.

Also Motlop and Aish are a must if we lose Danger and keeping our first round pick then hopefully keeping another with getting those two players.

There is no point putting a value on Henderson as far as trading goes, that woeful effort of letting the ball bounce in front of him in the second quarter would have teams upgarding a player off their rookie list rather than trade in Hendo

And his tackling attempt last week that resulted in a Suns goal.

$500K p.a. for Tarrant, surely you jest??

500 k on Tarrant. No thanks.

After his top shelf first season Brisbane were reluctant to let him go, despite them being aware of his reluctance of being in Brisbane. They backed themselves to keep him.

Having Henderson as a starting 22 player is exactly why we need to go for Scharenberg. We may lose a bit in pace but he would provide a better a kick and decision making. Plus he surely couldn't be as soft

Hendo squibbed an uncontested mark today. A new low for him.

Look, I understand he may have an issue with his back but if he does, don't play him. You can't have someone in the team who picks and chooses when he will contest a ball, it is a bad look and it says " this is the minimum standard we accept" because * me, the minimum should be 100%.

Amazing but the ball being outnumbered still managed to get itself over the line and force a throw in so the Swans could reset. Any decent football team wanting elite standards would have bitten the bullet and dragged him and put the red vest on him. Needless to say I am a little disappointed.

I did say at the complete max... So meaning we need to get him for less but if that's what we'd have to pay I'd be frustrated but I believe it's worth it completely. Did you not watch Hartigan yesterday? Out marked by McGlynn and that's where I finally decided that's my opinion sold sealed and delivered. Then again we'll have 800k - 1.2m free after Danger leaves.

They can still keep him.

So then we'll still have a half ass'd tall defender in our line up... Okay well done

If we get Tarrant, it'd be a direct swap, an average for an average.
Your argument is now pointless.

Motlop =

Port Powr must be really going for him all guns blazing in that case.

PS: I want him at the Crows

He does that week in and week out. How any player above U10 can let a ball bounce rather than mark it is beyond me. It was 1 m in front of him and he stopped to let it bounce! I actually swore very loudly at the telly at that moment - startled the wife and kids a bit as well!!

I would rip the s**t out him and send him to the SANFL this week if it was my decision. Swans got a goal on the back of that pathetic effort.

You weren't the only one. What surprised me the most was that the commentators didn't tear him a new one, possibly one of the few times I wished Wayne Carey was commentating

They were too busy fapping about how wonderful Sydney are and how 'they're back!!' Seriously are there any commentators out there that don't love it when we are losing?

Pointless? No it's not... I don't need an argument because if you simply watch Tarrant one on one he's a better defender and he's not just a bloke to punch when going into packs, quite often can duke it where Hartigan would fluke that one out of 50 times

I'm not arguing with you anymore because that'd be pointless.
