Mike Sheehan just talking now about it on #AFL360
Less equals more basically.
12 team comp, 22 rounds, each side plays everyone twice.
From the 18 clubs currently, which 6 would you boot?
I have booted out Suns, Giants, Bombers, North, Saints & Lions.

Mike sheehan plagiarizing GG there.
I said all this fairly recently.
Specifically the catch-phrase, less is more.
Get your own brain, sheehan.

If you remove GC you shouldn't remove Brisbane. Brisbane are having a rough patch at the moment, but no footy in Queensland is not a good thing.

I would remove:
GC
GWS
Saints
Melbourne
North
Dogs
Carlton

and then add a Tasmanian side
Victoria 5 teams
WA 2
SA 2
QLD 1
NSW 1
Tasmania 1

So how much less in TV rights is the league going to get showing 3 games less per week? Not sure less equals more
Believe me, this will never happen due to reasons like that but you can see where Mike is coming from though in terms of evening up the comp and the best talent going head to head more often.
