Toumpas would be the friggin jackpot for us Dees supporters. He looks like such a good player.I heard a rumour that GWS is considering not taking Toumpas with one of its first 3 picks.
Probably just a smokescreen though.

But would Melbourne take Toumpas if Wines was also available, given the relationship between Wines and Viney?Toumpas would be the friggin jackpot for us Dees supporters. He looks like such a good player.

Vlastuin at 9 defies Richmods recent drafting history, they rate kicking skills very highly.
Demons draft night on Thursday suggested Toumpas would be taken ahead of Wines if they get the choiceOf course Melbourne will take Toumpas if he's there at 4. It would be madness not to. It's business.
And Carlton now have Prendergast as an employee.

Interesting effort. Certainly don't buy Jacobs at 26 or Kennedy at 30.
What would they have to gain by that, they have all of the first 3 picks?Toumpas would be the friggin jackpot for us Dees supporters. He looks like such a good player.

You dont just muck around with picks.
Darling is a fair bit differant than Garlett.
Why would GC take simpson at 13 if Garlett is still available?
So it's a white wash on his comments of not recruiting a player with two black parents?Nope. That's the last on the matter.
20 plus you can take risks on talented types
Trading picks 12/13 for raw types is riskier
Bud have you watch heppell in the middle, he has no idea where to stand, what happening and where his man is. He is a wonderful half back but in the middle he is useless.Except that won't be the case seeing Heppell moved into the midfield for the majority of last season and the club have already signaled Goddard for a midfield role.
Suspect we won't take Jacobs anyway.
Does anyone have any idea what this means?
I think he's just taking a swoop at the saints

Whats Billy Rolfe like? I'm guessing were talking pick 51 or 80 rather than 22.Western Bulldogs and Port ADelaide have spoken to DAndenong Stingray back - flanker Billy Rolfe. Port Adelaide reportedly very keen on the kid from Frankston.
Nick Newman, another Stingray has been spoken to by a number of clubs including Essendon, Collingwood, Richmond and Brisbane.
Lewis Pierce has attracted a number of clubs interests and from what I am hearing, may go as early as second round..

Thanks for that, seems like a player Macca would love so no surprise that we're interested!More a prospective rookie selection at this stage, or a late ND pick. Rolfe is a workmanlike halfback flanker with solid enough foot skills. Not the most polished player out there but he just gets the job done. Good foot speed and strong through the hips that enables him to break tackles.
A strong tackler himself, Rolfe enjoys the congested hard ball, and is strong overhead for someone his size. Body size good (182cm, 78kg) and could play AFL football in 12 - 18 months, maybe even surprise a few next year should he be drafted.
