2013-14 FA Cup

Went to Cheers for Leeds v Leicester this season with a die hard Leeds mate. Scored the winner in the 86th min or so. There was one chick and I supporting Leicester in a bar full of Leeds fans. Geez we had some fun giving it to them at the end :D

Cheers is alright but there isn't a lot of room in there depending on how many are going. The sports bar is huge and normally has a great atmosphere. I think I'll most likely end up there

Fair enough, sounds like they're putting up a huge screen though and should be nice and full which is always best. But it's all a bit of experimentation. Cheers has a good rep so should be good fun regardless.

Yeah it's not bad, it's got a good reputation for showing British football.

Best thing about getting promoted Is being on TV every weekend next season!

Yeah can't wait, world cup and then premier league for the first time in 10 years. Bring. It. On!

As for the FA Cup, I'll be that loser in a Leicester shirt wherever I watch. If I end up at cheers, I shouldn't be hard to spot ;)

Come for the first half then get to Casino for second half! We can have beers at Cheers until HT. Unless it's too far to trek haha. Would be good to meet you and pants if he ends up coming. I think I'll be very easy to pick out. ;)

You'll be the one in the corner, sitting down, on the floor, arms wrapped around his knees and muttering to himself '5-0, can still win, Steve Bruce will pull it off, can still win'

Pre-Game? s**t I'm not that pessimistic.

Yeah I'll let you know beforehand where I end up. I have a mate that lives in Lane Cove so will probably just end up there

Fair enough! Should try and get to a pub next season for a Leicester-Hull match, even if it will be pretty one sided. ;)

As long as you'll be OK walking away disappointed? ;)
Disappointed?
It appears he's already resigned to the fact you'll win by 3-4 goals.

Meyler won't be banned for the final as the ref saw the incident at the time.

What a ******* stupid system. Hope someone stamps on his leg in the final. Deserves to miss out.

:) :) :) Wowee so lucky.

Pretty shitty sentiment.

When I bitched and carried on about Boyd you told me to suck it up and move on because them's the breaks. You win some you lose some.

Stamping on someone's leg while they're on the ground and can't defend themselves is a putrid act.

He should not be playing in that final.
You were saying yourself that the incident was unacceptable.

The FA really does have some s**t processes.

I was and I said he deserved to be punished if it went to the review panel.

Stamping on someone's leg is a terrible act, and wishing for someone to be stamped on is just as inexcusable, which is why I didn't take kindly to your post.

I just want the dirty little prick to cop some of his own medicine seen as the FA won't do anything about it. I wouldn't begrudge anyone else at Hull winning an FA cup but I really hope he doesn't. Does not deserve to be there at all.

He's not a dirty player, as I said after the incident, he's a gritty midfielder, and will rack up the yellows, but rarely steps over the line. This was a brain snap and I won't begrudge him any more than I begrudge Hall for playing in the 05 GF.

Boyd was found guilty and therefore despite my comments to the contrary was told to accept the verdict. Meyler has been found innocent (by the ref saying he saw it and had no issue with it), so I will accept that verdict too.

Go Tiges! Really need any sort of Tigers to have a win!
