It's pretty tough being a wingback these days though. They expect you to overlap but as soon as your team loses the ball when you have gone forward, they berate you for not being in a defensive position. If you decide to sit back, then your berated for not going forward enough. Plus it depends on whether your winger or DM will cover you too.

Dominated them for the 1st half but couldn't get more than the 1 goal. Early parts of the 2nd they were all over us and had a couple of good chances (Carney missed a 1 v 1) but for the last half hour or so we got back on top and once Jaliens was sent off we just peppered the goal. Even Nicholls had a good game.

Three points clear at the top now, thanks to Melbourne and Adelaide dropping points. The results have fallen our way perfectly this week so it's good that we capitalised.

Once again, we got an insight into just how good DDS is going to be. That kid has frightening talent.

Good for us that Adelaide had a loss, knock a little off their confidence heading into Tuesday.

Bit harsh on dino that. Pretty hard to get a foot on that and clear it from the direction he's coming and the pace on the strike.
