Waiting for the A-Leagues fixtures to come out but its Tumbleweeds from the APL.

Posted it in the Matildas' thread (probably the wrong thread for it), but the Western United A-League Women's team head coach, Mark Torcaso, has been appointed to the role of head coach of the Philippines' women team, replacing Alen Stajcic. He will combine this with his ongoing duties as head coach of the United team.

Big signing for Melbourne Victory A-League Women's team, taking the former Melbourne City captain, Emma Checker. Was on the fringes of the Matildas team for a while until injuries derailed her career. Been captain of City for two seasons, so she'll be a big loss to City and a big signing for Victory.

Former Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United defender, Jenna McCormick has signed with the Brisbane Roar for the upcoming season. McCormick won a few Matilda caps until Ante Milicic, but I don't think she ever played under Tony G.

Brisbane Roar sign Matilda Tameka Yallop on a "multi-year" deal. Yallop has previously played twice for the Roar, including spending 10 years with the Roar between 2008 and 2018, winning two championships (in 2009 and 2011) and three premierships (2009, 2013 and 2018). Yallop has also previously played for Melbourne City in the A-League Women's, and has played for West Ham United, Boston Breakers, FFC Frankfurt, Iga FC Kunoichi, Mallbackens, Klepp IL and Brann FC.

Coopers Stadium management have pro-actively banned Melbourne Victory supporters from the Adelaide United v Melbourne Victory game at Coopers next season, due to the APL ignoring the ongoing safely issues around this match.

This is going to ruffle some feathers, and it's really disappointing that it's happened but the behaviour in that away bay by Victory fans the last few games has been nothing short of horrendous so I understand why they've done it.
