Can't win, last year's was a thrilling match and people thought it sucked (because of the team that won).
This year's was a clinical dismantling of the team that finished 1st on the ladder and the overwhelming favourite. And people still hate it.

Almost like people want a close match that doesn't suck or something.

i'm not exactly jumping for joy over a hawthorn back to back, but seeing the afl's in-house side bite the dust is majorly satisfying.

Where do we draw the line?....salary cap cheats, bringing game into disrepute, buying a flag etc. All the wealthy teams have blotted the AFL landscape at one time or another (except for fans with selective recall)

When talking about comparison of eras, it's good to acknowledge back to back. That is something the Hawks have done, but Geelong didn't.

However, it's also important to acknowledge the four-year gap between 2008 and 2013, as well as the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
