We have a lot of supporters Australia wide ,but our membership doesnt equal the support we have.Also
teams that have their home bases at M.C.G by and large have more members, than clubs that use Etihad as a home base (The cheaters are the exception ) .If the G is your home base you dont need reserve seating and clubs like DAWKS and the TIGGERS have a very high 3 game membership.Membership is not the be all ,the Pussies get more money from a 45000 membership than the Tiggers do with 70000 .Reserved seating is the reason .In saying that we should have at least 55000 members every year ( our lack of success for 15 years hasnt helped

February & March are generally the 2 biggest months for membership purchases (not withstanding the automatic rollovers in October/November).

Given the cycle of Carlton supporters coming on, a 51K before round one could possibly translate to almost 60K by July and that won't happen.

52-53K all up, would be an admirable achievement for the club and 55K would be an excellent outcome......maybe even better than excellent

Where did these figures come from? As of today, the number has gone backwards about 100 according to the live tracker.
