Maybe I am crazy, but starting to get tempted to flick goldy.

If I went goldy to sauce (paired with stef) the extra cash means:

Shiel ---> Fyfe AND
Buddy--> the Chad

Tempted, can you guys please talk me around!

Just estimates, but:

Shiel - 20 games @ 105 + 2 games @ 60 (Rough estimate for the fill in when he misses) = 101 ave.
Buddy - 19 games @ 95 + 3 games @ 60 = 90 ave.
Fyfe = 19 games @ 120 + 3 games @ 60 = 112 ave.
Wingard = 22 games @ 97 = 97 ave.
Jacobs = 22 games @ 110 = 110 ave.
Goldstein = 22 games @ 125 = 125 ave.

Option 1 - Shiel, Buddy, Goldstein = 316 points a week.

Option 2 - Fyfe, Wingard, Jacobs = 319 points a week.

Pretty much the same thing, depending on how you view my estimates. Buddy hasn't played more than 19 games in a season since 2010, Fyfe has only played more than 19 once in his career, and Shiel has only gone better than 17 games once in his 4 seasons.

I like the second option purely on durability, and I because I don't think Shiel is a good pick (Or Buddy really, but I never do).

I blame my temporary insanity on a far too long off season. Too much time to think.

I think I've come up with another option, but this one means I keep goldy. And no, I'm not flicking gaj!

Shiel at 20 games...has happened how many times? What is his average games per season?
Yet your expecting him to exceed his average games per season.
Buddy the same

Rookies at 60... by the time they miss games they either get traded out for another premo, eg missing multiple weeks or you have loophole options to ensure you get a good bench score
Goldy and sauce both scoring close to max but fyfe dropping.
Chad holding his high 90s because?

I understand their estimations but imo very few mids rucks and fwds are consistently consistent in sc averages.

Wow! If he repeats that start to the year this year, by round 8 he will have averaged about 106 and lost nearly 150k. That would be a dream for non goldy owners.

If Lobbe can somehow scrape together a 100 avg, it would only be about 80k to upgrade him to goldy.:eek:

Plus whatever you used the spare 300k for elsewhere on the field.
