This is the worst side we have fielded in several years on paper. Against any other team you would probably pencil in a loss but we should still account for the Eagles. Need Dow and Hewett to step up in the middle and the Eagles not to play above themselves.

At the end of the day it’s not so much the players’ talent that matters as much as the players’ intent and the pressure they apply. We will have enough talent on the field but what will get us a big win is bringing the pressure and application that we have last few weeks.

Given how it's been going for nearly 2 years now, I think he'll only fire up 3 years from now in a pub somewhere telling everyone how good he could have been if people stopped getting in his way.

Has had a lot of chances, and is getting another one. With any luck, those stoppage and transition efforts he pulled out in the last VFL game are a sign of things to come, but he's likely to be delisted at the end of the season.

needs to show something(s) I agree - but he is one who if it clicks we are big winners

Our reputation for folding under pressure will mean Eagles will see this as a huge opportunity - we need to come out of the blocks with intent for this.

Absolutely love the buzz cuts on Cinc and Cow :thumbsu:

Blacres hair looks like a moreton bay fig, and Ollie the 5th Beatle.....get it orrrrfffffffffffff

We're only down in one department: inside midfield. If we need a big body there, we can throw Jack or Kemp in there in a pinch.

Every other part of the ground is ahead of where we were at the start of the year, whether it be in form or personnel.

In fact, this team is basically the same as round 1, except:

Dow for Kennedy
Honey for Martin
Kemp for Young
Cottrell for McKay
Fogarty for Fisher
Cuningham for Owies
Walsh for Cerra
Cincotta for Cripps

Not seeing what you see. We're 4/8 or 5/8 up in those head-to-head changes.

Not seeing what you see. Bare minimum we're 4/7 or 5/7 up in those head-to-head changes.
Cripps and McKay played round 1

Not sure why you keep suggesting Kemp as an inside mid

No, the team we are rolling out this week is no where near the quality of round 1

Dow and Honey aren't replacing Kennedy and Martin, Cerra and Walsh live in the same side
