Didn't even notify the club. Had to wait until they called asking why he wasn't at training.

It's interesting to compare how Neagle and Atkinson have responded so differently to the same situation.

I certainly wasn't one of his fanboys, but i still maintain that he was a better chance of developing into an afl standard hbf than Courtenay Dempsey.

The single nice thing about Atkinson was the angst he caused Quarters in that 2009 game against the piss and poo.

Quarters was absolutely right- he'd run too far. Which makes it even funnier listening to him foam at the mouth as he ran 30 metres without a bounce.

God, he was terrible though.
