Yep, so true about country boys. Pampered little city boys from the suburbs who requests trades despite being on $200,000 at 18 should try moving to uni, four hours by car, just to even try and make something of themselves – it's hard, as Deccers had to do.

He's short but he has a really impressive build for someone who has only been in an AFL environment for six months. He's so hard working. Liked what Brad Scott said about country people too. I have always had a long, admirable respect for the working class, gritty culture of North (though Shinboner spirit makes me cringe a little). I really hope he makes it.

Gotta love the crew cut too! Not much says 'I'm business' like it. It looks s**t but I reckon it says a bit.

Agree with the above posts - everything that we have seen and heard of this guy says that he has the attitude of someone who will succeed. Any one of many things could derail his career but it will never be the mental side of his game.
