Mid season trade would only benefit the big clubs and finals sides - it would destroy the bottom teams

If you put some parameters around it I think it would be fine.

Without thinking about it much you could only trade players who haven’t played more than 3 to 5 games that year. Can’t trade players who are in your top tier money earners etc.

To check out don’t you have to actually check in first?

The campaigner hasn’t given a yelp from the first practice match 😡

He can **** off as he is not the answer.

Cash out and get a couple of players who actually want to compete.

I swear he made up his mind before the season started

Looked disinterested at times, by all reports his pre-season was average. Is it Xerri ruck work that has him frustrated..

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

How many excuses are we gonna make? Xerri's ruckwork doesn't make him refuse to chase on transition. It doesn't make Hill and NWM go from 40m behind him to 40 in front on a turnover.

There would be some benefits. For example, we probably would have gotten something for Goldy last year because someone would have wanted him for finals.

Similarly, if a side thought that Zurhaar might help them in finals then they'd maybe overpay to get it done now.

LDU needs a great tap ruckmen and 1 or 2 defensive minded mids in order to enable the best out of himself. Without either of those things he will never be the player we thought he'd be.

So he needs football to be served on a silver platter?

If that is the case, in our circumstances, he has no business being called a Roo.

We need grit, fight, tenacity, strength and skill. He offers about two of those things.

LDU should be heartened by the fact we're that close when we clearly have a few spuds turning the ball over too often. We'll be 100% better in a year or two. Part of it is system, part tanks/ strength and part a few guys to replace in the team.
We need another mid that can hurt on the outside who demands as much attention as LDU does to take heat off him. Powell has shown he could be it, but hasnt been able to replicate his game from earlier in the year. Wardlaw is great but not much you can do to stop an in and under animal.

If he wants out and wants to go to St.Kilda, trade him for StKilda's 2024 1st and 2025 1st. Or next year, take the 2025 and 2026 St.Kilda's 1sts. It's really not worth having a player moping around and not wanting to be there, if that is what he is doing. If he really wants to stay, all well and good and he will still earn great coin.
