Nice tight contest in the end but definitely feel for the Suns, a filthy mongrel act, their gumby kickers getting too involved and the bin worms cost them in the end

It's absolutely unacceptable for the broadcast not to show the play the gifted a goal to Gawn. Not even after the match do they show it. No commenters on the sideline to explain what happened. Just rubbish broadcasting.
you wont even notice that they're not at the ground apparently

There’s a very clear agenda from the AFL on controlling the narrative. Commentator guidelines, coaches instructions and fines etc.

The standard of umpiring which was already mediocre at best has gone clearly worse this season, yet rather than address it they’re trying to control the comms around it.

Wait until it clearly decides on a premier in a grand final and maybe they’ll act then. And burn the game in the process.

If the roles had been reversed and Chol had of pushed Gawn, no doubt they would have blown the whistle in a heartbeat. Gold Coast were impressive tonight, Anderson is an absolute ripper and reckon good things are about to happen for them.
Too true. Swallow had a clear free kick too. Rosas also took a clear mark that was knocked out after the mark. I mean the list literally goes on. Hate it when umpires decide results. Im angry and im a neutral.. although admiteddly i was hoping the Suns would win.

It's already happened in 2016

Take note, they usually only comment on decisions if the aggrieved team wins so we will not hear anything from them. Last week they were happy to admit errors in the Pies/Crows game because Collingwood won. We never heard anything about the Papley decision in the prelim.

Yes. It's easier to bag the umps when you win. Otherwise your complaints are just dismissed as excuses for losing.
