962 jump compared to your 1227. this is ridiculous.
That shouldn't be possible. How does someone further up the queue move more?

Would it be that more people between Y and Z dropped off (1200) than between X and Y (900)?

Doesn't seem right that people closer to gold would drop off at a higher rate than those further away from gold.

Yeah. i found that strange as well so I double checked after I posted. The waitlist number I had written down was 7500 but I just double checked and my waitlist number prior to now was actually 7100. So in event i moved 877 spots. That looks more reasonable when I compare it to others

ahh yep that makes more sense. i reckon we're both still 8-9 years out from gold :(

Earlier this year AFl offered lapsed members a chance to become gold members at a price ,does that mean jumping the queue?
Lapsed gold members. So yeah, they should have come back as silvers at the bottom of the queue.
So unnecessary by the AFL. The sort of money a few lapsed members coming back gave them is loose change, at the expense of others and their own poor reputation.

I don’t think it’s all kittens and rainbows for them. I think they need to pay a fair portion of annual fees they’ve not paid for the years they’ve lapsed.

Still, that’s no comfort if you’re silver and they’re keeping you from gold.

Spot on. You miss a year, you're done. Back of the queue
