Reports that a Germanwings Airbus 320 has gone down in the French Alps from Barcelona to Dusseldorf. 142 pax plus 6 crew on board. This has not been a good 12 months for aviation.

This is looking pretty bad for Airbus. They have had problems with instruments icing up nearly causing two crashes in the last few weeks. The Air Asia crash is also believed to be from this issue. How many have to go down before they admit there is a serious problem?

Been a terrible couple of years for the aviation industry.

Horrible news once again.
I guess more info will begin to come to light in the morning. Conflicting reports as to whether a mayday call was made.

150 on board. Wreckage and bodies found around the wreckage.
One of the oldest 320's in service too no. 0147.

R.I.P to all on board

Possibly double engine failure considering the descent rate?
