Too hard for jockeys to count how many strikes yet manages to push it to the absolute limit before a DQ. Strange huh
Maybe good luck. Second horse also exceeded the limit. Would have been hilarious if both horses exceeded and were disqualified.

Funny how stewards push for disqualification for whip breach but not for flattening a horse.
 
Looking ahead to futures markets and Princess Grace @ 26 in the Empire Rose looks way overs. American form is pretty good and her couple starts over unsuitable trips earlier this year were really good. Connections have said they are going to target the fillies and mares G1s and specifically this race. Noms aren't taken til a week before the race in case anything goes wrong between now and then

May as well just have it in the bet slip while the resumption race is on. Ain’t going to shorten until then and good chance she’s not up to this.
