Its been completely and utterly botched. Matt Welsh is just not the right person for the job, not sure how he got it either, he was a terrible trial file tipster...
It was ok as a voted in race, it was never going to get the best field that way but that wasn't the point of the race.
Anyway it needs to be a slot race now even though i hate them. We dont have that many WFA mile races right now and its a perfect lead up to the Australian Cup (which should be programmed 2 weeks after the ASM)
