Our first will be for something else I'm convinced.
Maybe something as big as our 1st for 2015 and 2016.
We dropped off the Bennell train pretty quickly.
We will Take Bennell if nobody else wants him.
The lines to read between being Bennell was out on the town and then told not to do a medical. If there is anything in it then my guess is its in there some where.

Fair enough, I wasn't really having a go.
I have no if we're doing all we can, being professional and all but I'm pretty confident that we are.
I don't need to know the reasons why or why not to be honest, better that they keep it all in house.
Hope we have something up our sleeve for our first pick...any ideas who?

I am totally happy to wait for Yarran in 2016. We have not the team yet for a 2016 premiership so why cripple our prospects getting Yarran before the event? Like others have said we need to get bigger body types in before we contend and really Yarran is simply icing on the cake we can get later when we address our structural improvements and inside mids.We can pick up Weller possibly and front load before we chase our 2016 FA targets.
I what welcome a Yarran back flip. That would be really smart!

I come on here and read info not because I automatically believe it but because it is entertaining. It's like watching a TV show: there are heroes and villains, peaks and troughs, lulls and explosions and melts and triumphs. But like a TV show just because it's fiction doesn't mean you don't get emotionally invested.
With that said I'm not sure why people are raging against the people who put up what they've heard. Sure, T71 and Undertaker and everyone else get it wrong sometimes but there isn't some vast underground network of trolls set up to raise our hopes and them dash them on the rocks. Nonetheless you should be discerning in whose words you put credence into; some people on here are nuff nuffs.

I was looking at homes with my misses today. We're about to buy our first. I got so many text messages. Sorry I couldn't reply until now.
The players are not happy. The playing group is absolutely shattered. They didn't see this coming. Well atleast the 5-10 players I've had referenced to me. You don't need to hear it from my mouth, the boys celebrated with Harley for his birthday. So it's evident they were really excited.
What's really unbelievable is that the club is playing a game of ****ing poker. They haven't ruled out Harley, it's not done yet. Wait till trade week. They're playing a game of chess and in my opinion (this part is my opinion) they're going to **** this up big time. They want to get him for dirt cheap because apparently they're trying to collect all their eggs in one basket, they're being ambitious. Will it pay off? I reckon hell no.

He can easily sit with CFC for another year and we get him cheaper via FA. CFC might get a better pick anyway and we have to use 3 draft picks this year although later one for Lambert probably.
Other back flips have occurred and it is not like us depriving Yarran of a premiership for a year like Hartung. Yarran is still getting paid by CFC. Next year we have a better idea what we want anyway if we are really cashed up with Redden Goldstein, Yarran and others on the table as well as the better draft picks. Could even pop up Yarrans salary deal a bit to do it after 2016

I believe what the Undertaker says because he's a well known poster and they don't just put their balls on the line for nothing. This would of happened unexpectedly and I reckon a few of our players were looking forward to Harley joining Richmond.

No idea what they're thinking. Like I said, the club was willing to offer 500,000k (to complete the GC deal). That's fact, in the HUN article. He never got low-balled. The club has made a complete U-turn on the contract offer. Withdrawing it completely. That means they want to get him dirt cheap, or not get him at all. They're playing a game of chess.
There are some players we're gunning for, I don't like our track record, it's absolutely abysmal. But for us to make it public we're not offering him this contract, it's either
a/ bullshit, we suck dick and never take risks.
b/ we've indeed come to terms with a superstar and need to lower Bennell's salary and lower his trade value to get both
c/ we want to lower his trade value because we're tight arses.
d/ he failed a drug test and results came back very recently, hence his breakfast at a Richmond players house (yes, one from the leadership group).
I'd love to know what has really happened. It's already been stated that we're looking to be more aggressive in the trade period. Why would we be playing 'poker' with the opportunity, and being the front runner to gain the services of an elite mid, which we desperately need? it doesn't make any sense. We have picks, we have the coin. However, I trust our leaders......... something went down that we don't know about yet, IMO.

That is pretty crazy if true because ****ing around with the reasonableness and goodwill of the playing group is pretty reckless given the make or break stakes. Not only that others will not take various people as seriously if they are playing them to a degree.
For example it would be more palatable getting Yarran in 2016 than playing poker with a Bennell deal now. I would not even do what is being suggested and people know I was shopping Lids to GWS to get him back again years ago.
We would have to be chasing Plowman and others to even bother to attempt such a risk. Think some might be biting off more than they can chew on this one if true!
Remember leaving Yarran to 2016 saves 450k over the journey in terms of front loaded contracts etc..
