An anonymous year for the small forward who was, like many others, mostly wiped out by injury. Langdon played 5 of the first 6 rounds of the season (for not a whole lot of return) before being dropped after Round 6 and injuring himself in the WAFL. He played the final 3 rounds of the season. Langdon's best game for the year came against Collingwood in Round 4 where he recorded 15 disposals and kicked a goal.

One of the better rucks in the WAFL last season, Strnadica was selected as an SSP player during the preseason. Considered as pretty handy ruck depth and necessary backup for Nic Nat, Luke ended up ultimately playing only 2 games in a year where we struggled in the ruck. His two games were pretty comparable - registering 9 hitouts against Port in Round 6 and 10 hitouts against Richmond in Round 7. Strnadica never played again after Round 7 and quit the club towards the end of the season.

The first year key defender was very impressive after debuting in Round 14 vs Geelong and he played almost every game afterwards (he missed Round 20 and was the unused medical substitute in Round 21). Statistically, his best game came in the last round of the season during our annual GMHBA pantsing where he recorded 15 disposals and 9 marks. Looks to be a nice prospect down back.

I stopped voting in this s**t season around the bye I reckon.

This thread is making me relive it. Both can get in the bin.

Harry copped it a bit from the board this year and featured quite low in the votes despite playing the vast majority of games and being pretty important in the absence of Gov for a large portion of the year. His best game of the season probably game in Round 9 vs Melbourne where he recorded 15 disposals and 10 marks but he received no votes for this performance.

He had an impressive showing with 19 disposals, 3 marks and 7 tackles but was never seen again for the remainder of the season as we started to get some numbers back.

That’s probably more a reflection of how rubbish everyone else was in that game. 😂

Poor Harry. Had a pretty good year. Played a role which enabled Barrass to have a break out season

I actually reckon he finished the year pretty nicely, I liked his last few games - in particular the Geelong game.

Just never really got into the top 5 players on the ground during many games, and really, for a young key defender, that’s not entirely unexpected. I think we need to show patience with Harry.

Ultimately a poor year from Rotham who seemed to lose much of his urgency in his game. Strangely enough he played his best game for the season as a makeshift ruckman/forward in Round 19 vs St Kilda where he recorded 14 disposals and kicked 2 goals - he also gathered most of his votes in this game. Rotham injured himself in this game and didn't return until Round 22. Remains to be seen what his best position is next season as he stagnated in the backline in 2022.

A frustrating year for Petruccelle who usually performed decently enough when he was on the field but constant hamstring injuries robbed him of any continuity in his game and seemed stuck in a cycle of playing ok then doing his hammy and missing the next several weeks. Kicked 3 goals against the Suns in Round 20 which was his best return for the season.
