Banyule has appointed Craig Hayes as senior coach (formally Heidelberg, Eltham). We have also appointed Mark Spinoso as Under 19's coach (formally Old Paradians).

No 8 team comps- we already have 12 in a lower division and others wanting to come in- see Northern Blues, and a few others rumoured. Last year they talked about moving the 12 team division to D1 or A. Im guessing this will be on the agenda again.

Surely not. C Grade will have to have ten teams. Who is going the be the 10th?

Monash will stay up in my opinion. They were in it for a long time in a lot of their games and they beat marcellin.
Dragons will start in d4, all new sides start in d4 now.

Surely they have to ask a Club whether they will be competitive or not?
Will Monash prefer to play in D1 and have a dominant year?

Good result for the Ashes - Lazarus is back!. Weren't too far off it this year and will be better for the run in 2013. Well done to club stalwart Andrew "scalpel" hickey, winning the clubs b&f after playing his 200th during the season. Great result and yet another red head getting the choccies at Monash!

No idea officially. Can't see how else it would play out though? Would be the same protocol as used in the past.

Can confirm Monash will stay up. There'd want to be a marked improvement if they're to hold their spot though. 3 wins this year with 2 coming against a side that went winless. Not the most encouraging signs.
Southern Dragons are showing genuine interest in a move to the VAFA. One would suspect they'll start in the lower grades, if not D4.
Oakleigh is nothing, but a rumour according to people within the club - granted they aren't office bearers, but I'd expect they're across any intent for the club to move.

Thanks for your concern Michael. We'll be right, a hell of a lot of kids have been blooded and will improve. Also expect a couple of guns to come back......
